What is your usual means of transport between HOME and WORK?

Up until being laid off, (1~2 years ago) I used to commute (Bus & Train) to work. But when Covid was in full swing, I had to take the car instead, due to the potential risk of getting infected while surrounded by people that could potentially be infected as well.
The only "issue" was that my dad was (at that time, I was still learning to drive, and he was my "teacher". Also, he retired years prior) the kind that worked late hours. So he wasn't used to waking up early in the morning.
If I were still working today, then even with the russian sanctions causing gas prices to increase, it wouldn't be as much of a problem as both cars that me & my family uses, are Hybrids. And if used correctly, the battery would last long/far enough to make it to work AND back home. In other words, gas would be used up much slower than a non-electric.
I use an electric bicycle to get to work and anywhere else. It takes me ten minutes by E=bike now, where I used to live three blocks away from my job, but in an apartment that sucked and had loud obnoxious neighbors on the floor above me. I specifically chose an E-bike cause I hate how inexpensive cars are. Parking, gas, and BULLSH*T like mandatory auto insurance! It costs like $500 a month to upkeep a car. I can be saving that money every month, and I do!

My E-bike can get up to 40 kilometers an hour, and that's considering I'm overweight, so it is good enough for me. Although honestly, my brand of E-bike sucks, and I wanted a fat tire one, but they went out of business in 2017 and I can't even find a used one online.

It's complicated.
A 15 minute drive to my mum's.
A 15 minute walk to to the station (it costs £5 a day to park there so I park at my mum's)
An hour train journey.
A 30 minute walk.
Repeat in evening in reverse order.
Something else, I get up out of bed. Take a shower, get ready... walk down to my basement, get on my work laptop and that is my commute to work.

In my toolbox.
My toolbox looks like this:

Without this toolbox, it would be pointless to show up at a job, because all of the tools, supplies, and parts I need to actually DO the job will be inside it.
Unfortunately, this beast only gets about 12 MPG, and it has a 30 gallon tank, and at current prices, $100 (the typical credit card limit at the gas pump) only gets me less than 2/3 of a tank of gas.
I am a student right now and the time required to reach the hostel or the college, from the opposite places is like 15 minutes. So, not that much.
I like to walk. So even if it was like half an hour of walk, I would have done it for sure.
Walk or drive.
driving is an hour or so
walking is about a minute ish
That's weird. Does it depend on where you work on a given day, or is traffic that bad?
No walking means working from home office.
Driving means going to the office.
I walk.!
Takes like 30 minutes.
If it's rainy and gross I'll wake up early and take a taxi.
I walk like 12 mins, take the train for like 8 mins and then I'm basically there
I would drive my car, except on "causal Fridays" when I would ride my motorcycle.
Its a train and a bus. I could use the car, but the price for parking is more than using public transport..
I have a driver who picks me up every time I have to go to work.
