When I visited in 2012 a day cost around $134 so I am not sure a cheaper trip will be good quality. I took a budget vacation to Taiwan and it was more miserable than a prison cell.

  What made it so bad? I’m not looking for cheaper than that price, but just wondering if I can get more for my money. Even if it was for marginally more

  Taiwan had bumpy roads that made me scared of dying in a car accident, I was sometimes scared for 2-4 hours a day believing every second I might die the next two minutes, people who live in Taiwan are not afraid of bumpy roads cause they grew up with them but I was a tourist.
