Not really my home country but a place I spent a lot of time in throughout my life. Japan. I miss how people will just leave you the fuck alone. Since I've been back to America I've had to adapt strategies like wearing headphones for no reason, carrying no spare change, not smoke cigarettes people will try to bum, and just stright up ignore anyone that talks to me. Stupid ass shit happens here in America like a stranger trying to use my phone... fuck that motherfucker go buy a phone and if you can't go get a job you fucking looser! Then the suckers that fall for that kind of sympathy some how will just get the phone stolen.
Guess I just miss being left alone or not trying to be "preformed" to. Usually with a hand reaching out for my wallet.
I miss the cheap food, the nightly festivals, the city lights, the nearby gyms, the karaoke bars, the zoos, the high end clothing stores, the beautiful mountains and hills and cosmetics and temples, the herbal medicine, the free Tai chi lessons, the public parks, the free dance classes, the retired seniors that play chess near the apartments, the watermelon guy who wakes us up each morning by screaming “watermelons for sale.” The beautiful clay masks, the candied hawthorn berries, the cheap massages, the amazing acupuncturists, the lovely lemon scented cars, the towering skyscrapers, the beautiful street lights, and the five star restaurants and the cheap arcades.
Food.. Grocery shopping.. the convenience of nice spas and knowing what ingredients are in certain items.
.. Mostly food as there's a lot of pork here.

Nothing at all. I am so glad to be finally away from the hole.
The fact that I didn't grow up there. It made my childhood traumatic and abnormal.
