What's your favorite type of nature to hike in?

Hum, mountains and what we in Norwegian call svaberg.
And especially svaberg at the seaside.
Svaberg is rocks 100% exposed by the glaciers, no earth or anything, and they're slippery when wet.
It's peaceful to walk on them when far from people.
They're exposed so no trees or anything ruining your view.
They're firm under your feet etc.
Really enjoy them.
And streams flowing over them is often safe to drink, although talking with someone local who knows what's safe or not is a good idea.
