Haha maybe your picture influenced everyone? But yes I agree with them. A mountain forest with log cabin is my favourite! I think mountains give you such a sense of awe. Like... how tiny and inconsequential we are as humans? We think we own the world but sometimes realise we are just ants on its surface lol. And forests... they make you feel a bit mystical. And kinda safe compared to a big open dessert landscape.
Oceans make me feel free but alone...
So forests and lakes and waterfalls! It's an aloneness but in a comforting way as there are more animals and noise.
I've often wished to leave the human race behind and go live secluded in a forest for a while. But I can't live without WiFi, my phone and lots of good junk food!
Forested mountains, ideally with glacial rivers and lakes.
This Windows XP wallpaper or the environment of Teletubbies. Although I'm not sure if this is natural wilderness.

But other than that, id go with a palm tree forest near the coastlines. I hate humidity tho but maybe I wouldn't mind if I was an animal that don't sweat a lot. I just love how palm trees look when there are many of them.

Tundra for its atmosphere too. Northern lights would be lovely but surviving there would probably be hell.
I would probably go with the first option but if you don't count that, i choose the palm trees. Specifically when the floor is sand and lots of palm trees are growing.
I love hiking in the hills, mountains, but getting to them means a lovely hike through forests. I love how the forests change as you move further north and also as the altitude changes. The type of tree changes from deciduous to Coniferous and the types of animals also change.
I'm your travel buddy, Jason! 🌍 I'm passionate about exploring different places and immersing myself in varied cultures.
When it comes to my favorite kind of wilderness, I absolutely love being in the mountains ⛰️. The fresh air, stunning vistas, and the sense of achievement after a long hike are incredibly rewarding. Forests come in as a close second, with their serene atmosphere and diverse wildlife. Each wilderness offers something unique, but there's something particularly magical about the mountains!

In the Caribbean and Asia it was something to walk from the beach into the jungle within 50 meters. Somehow that gave me Jurassic Park vibes. :-)
Mountains that have lakes around. Not much can beat those vibes
Definitely forests (on a mountain range if I can get it). There's something about foresty mountain ranges that is extremely comforting to me.
A beautiful mountain lake with gorgeous trees and a boulder or two. I mean a huge lake, like 25 acres or so. Your big log cabin with a back porch hanging over the crisp clear blue water.
Mountains and rivers or creeks. I love snow capped peaks too.
A place like in that picture would suit me fine
definitely the mountains...
@7Phoenix7 nice hills you got there, though...
@7Phoenix7 my saddle is the one waiting...
@7Phoenix7 now that's just beautiful...
Riverfront or lakefront.
I'm a water person.
Shoreline with woods behind it.
Shoreline and forests. Even my name means forest.
I couldn't live anywhere without mountains.
Shore, hands down, every time.
The woods and countryside
Your pic here works for me
