But for me it was Varigotti Italy for now, at least I remember it being a really peaceful small town at the beach and I do want to go there again.

So many places! Can't pick just one.
Alexandria, Egypt stunk because the dump their sewage right into the ocean (or at least they did then). But from their it is an easy trip to Giza to see the sphinx and the pyramids (back then we could climp on the pyramids!). Then a bit further to Cairo and a visit to the national museum to see the original King Tutankhamun exhibit.
Naples, Italy. An interesting city with a lot to see, and bike riding around the coutryside around the city was wonderful. A quick ride will take you to Pompei with so much to see. Or take the aliscafi (hydrofoil) to Capri, an island with immense beauty. An easy ride on a chirlift takes you from Anacapri to the highest point on Monte Solaro for an absolutely beautiful view of the island and the surrounding sea. Then take a boat ride to the Blue Grotto, a cave you enter by boat and the light all comes through the water to give the grotto its famous blue color!
In Norway you can find absolutely beautiful fjords! Nothing like them elsewhere!
In France you can take a bus tour up the French Alps. Or relax on beaches that are extremely popular and openly topless. And the French people were so hice and helpful!
Or course, there is Rome, Italy, with so many famous sights! We stayed at a hotel only a few blocks from the Vatican. But we ended up walking all over the city and visited many of the religious points of interest.
Also in Italy, I walked to the top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Visited Venice a couple of times (once while they were filming Moonraker there). Walked all over the city of Florence.
On the other side of the world is beautiful Australia. So much variety in its regions. And the people were all so friendly!
Italy will always be my answer. I might be biased, or better say I’m mostly definitely am biased, but it’s the best place I’ve ever been in as far as culture and aesthetics. Bellagio in Lombardia is probably where I will retire. It’s one of my many unpopular opinions as many people would prefer to be in the bigger, more well-known cities such as Roma, Milano, or Firenze.
Barcelona was a good place and we visited Spain during national museum day where all the museums were free for 24-48 hours, we visited 4 in one day and I was super tired at the end.
Lagos, Algarve in Portugal.
Haha sure 🙏🏼

I've been to almost 30 countries and I've yet find a place that captured my heart like Greece did. I've visited some countries that had better attractions, but it was the Greek people and lifestyle that really captured my heart. That was the most chill country I've ever been in. I live in the U. S., the land of freedom, but Greece was the only country where I truly felt free. And the Greeks are the kindest most generous people in Europe by far.
Damn, I can't talk about that country, 'cuz I miss it and start to cry.
Maybe Athens and some of the touristy islands are different, but the north of the country where I stayed was like this.
We don't travel much, but the best place for us was Bermuda >

The 'big' city of Hamilton Bermuda, and Horseshoe Beach Bermuda
Hands-down Japan. Amazing hotel, amazing service, just nerdy enough for me (gundam, pokemon, anime, manga) and the fooooddd 🤤🤤 I ate so much yakiniku. The mountains and the view is also great. Combine that with people being polite and interested in you.. Great time overall.
Now I feel weird I've only traveled to make money never as a vacation
Maybe then you should go on vacation for once 😬
I put at the same level Naxos (Greece), Evora (Portugal) and New York City (United States of America).
As Italian I’m proud of your choice! I invite you to visit also the rest of our country to have a nice and complete experience.
Route 66.
I drive up and down route 66 on almost every vacation I take.
That's is a big chunk of USA history for everyone to see for free
Ibiza, our villa is on the San Antonio side, but its way more fun on the Ibiza Town side of the island, and its a quick 20 minute drive.

Loved it as well. But hated the heat
@Fromdusktilldawn the heat there was better than the heat here in MS. Down here it feels suffocating. Up there it felt like dew was falling on me all the time. The only thing i disliked was their flavorless food
