RE:Update. I drove non stop halfway across the country. I did it in 30 hours so 60 hours to do the whole thing but I doubt i could stay awake that long.
Driving it takes about 4 hours to cross my state. Never driven from one end of the country to the other. But I think that it is about 48 hours nonstop to cross east to west; and about 24 hours north to south.
I don't know for sure but by car and through the middle it would take about 1/1,5 week at least but i could be wrong. (Byron bay - steep point western Australia)
@AngelOfLight258 Take at least like 4 weeks to see the east coast. There is much more to see but you'd need a 4wd and more time to explore the remote areas of the Australia. The size and remoteness of the outback is a spectacular experience.

To cross the US, it would take 45 hours, or six 8-hour days.
To cross my state, Texas, alone, it would take 14 to 16 hours.
It takes me 3 hours to drive across the state and probably 3 days to drive across the country

From where I live near the coast, it takes about 3 hours to get to Mexico, probably 16 to get to Canada, and at least 3 days to get to the East Coast.

It depends on your mode of transport. Driving, to go from the bottom to the top, nearly 3 hours, from end to end, just over 6 hours.
Technically could cross from south most point to north most point in about 45 minutes but realistically it's closer to 2hrs.
State: 5.5 hours by car.
Country: 1 day 17 hours by car
It took five days to drive from Frederick, Maryland to Anchorage, Alaska, and that was driving 16 hours a day and hauling.

Ooh I gotta visit Australia soon but it's such a big country. It's so hard to figure out what parts I want to see.
