What are your thoughts on the newest Corvettes?

I live in an area where Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bentleys, et Al are pretty common. I am not normally overly impressed with these Italian cars but this America Corvette is amazing! What say you?

I think this is probably the model I saw on Jay Leno's Garage. He was the first person outside of GM to drive one. It was a pre-production model but was very close to the final release. They were saying it's the fastest normally aspirated car in the world.

When I was younger I would have liked such a car. But now I prefer grandpa cars that get me from point A to point B.

To be honest, if I had a Corvette I'd want a '64 Stingray.

I know Biden seems to love them as they showed him driving one at the FBI training center. When I first saw one I thought it was some type of Ferrari as it looked expensive. All I know is I couldn't afford one.

We use them at the race track, a major road course, for pace cars, chase cars etc.
One of the guys that uses one during motorcycle racing as a chase car says it pushes more than the last front engine ones they had, and is 3mph slower between corner 3 and corner 5.
It is harder to get in and out of.
Myself I have never driven or even sat in one.
I'm in one of the safety trucks.

Those are all examples of how rich people become poor people. I might pay a couple of thousand dollars to take one a few laps around a race track, but I can’t see driving a race car for daily transportation. If I inherited a billion dollars tomorrow, I’d probably get my Honda repainted.

Sooner have an old one, place near my dad's in rural England was a US car restorer they had beautiful machines especially the 60's Stingray sat on the li6t for I recall £25k or £30k
