The pictures you show are rather ''tamed rainforest''

I feel a sense of 'adventure' when it comes to jungles (and rainforest). But they are also a bastard to get through them without being eaten by all kinds of insects.

Most remaining present ''real'' jungles are more or less inaccessible to a normal person; which is a good thing: the last thing jungle needs, are tourists :D

Too many insects and creatures for my taste, I rather go some place else that's also fun. I dont want to get jumped by a swarm of camouflaged moths this month.

There’s many parts of the Philippines that’s densely covered with gigantic old trees as my dad is a retired forester. I’ve seen them. It’s beautiful and peaceful. All you hear is the sounds of animals and nature and your own heartbeat
