What do you like to do on a gloomy, rainy day on your day off/free time?

I like the sound of the rain on the rooftop. When I was a kid, my friends and I would play in the rain getting all muddy and dirty. I have danced in the rain with an ex boyfriend once. It was sweet and romantic. I also like to stay inside in my pjs, be lazy all day, make some warm noodle soup and watch movies. Or lounge in bed all day doing f#ck all. 🤣

Gloomy, rainy day? You don't know you're born, we get months of them here.
Main thing is not to spend it staring out the window moaning. Try and meet up with friends for a meal, bake that cake you've been meaning to, vist your granny or something, anything just don't let the rain become your prison guard or you'll crack up.

It's well worth checking where the rain actually is, it's often very localised and a half hour drive can put you on glorious sunshine.

Well, i luv the rain. So if i don’t have to work, run errands or do chores, i’ll either go out and play, or sit on the porch and watch and listen. Maybe sit by an open window reading a book.
On a snow day though, i’m staying in my room and binging shows or movies; probably under the covers unless i’m eating soup or sipping hot cocoa. A book isn’t out of the question then too, actually. Eff the snow! Eff it right in its effing eff-hole!

Play music. Have a homemade cup of coffee on my baby grand while playing some improv jazz while listening to the rain pounding on the roof. Feels so good.

I do creative things like make clothes for the dolls that i collect, paint, draw, do graphic art, dance , sing creat videos for youtuve even thougg no one follows me or watch em 😔lmfao but yeah anything creative keeps me happy in a rainy gloomy day

If it's just me, and the internet isn't out, draw and stuff. Unless it was like that time the internet dropped out after two days because the rainstorm... and then the power went out. Then I would consider walking in the flooded streets like last time.

When I was a kid I’d drag my soft blanket out, sit in one of the chairs and read while the rain poured down. The covered deck was always nice. Now as an adult I don’t have a deck but I’ll make a warm beverage (coffee, tea or hot chocolate) curl up on the couch with the window open, read or play a video game and listen to the rain.

If it is a rain squall type of day than it is very pleasant indeed to be warm and watching netflix. I am usually impatient and if something doesn't grab me in 30 secs I'm looking for something else. But on rainy days I am more tolerant. Guess that is because there is nothing better.

My wife has a fairly large tropical garden with lots of vegetables marina calamondin lemongrass mangoes and other things. But when it rains she can't work outside and if I'm not at work I'm just right there with her so all we had to do is just snooze all day until the rain ends
