Between these two states, where would you rather live?

Both are among the least appealing states to me. However, I'll settle for Louisiana, between these two, because I can tolerate the warm climate there as opposed to the generally cold weather of Illinois.

Illinois. Chicago is a great city with loads to do. Louisiana is good for a few days visit to New Orleans and that's about all the time worth spending there.
