I love Filipino culture but a lot of the kids grow up without parents and become professional thieves, some will kill or kidnap or torture for money. My friends dad spent a month vacationing there and died in a car crash. My other friend had a cousin who was kidnapped in the Philippines while she was bragging about her rich parents to strangers at a dance hall. Later they raped her and let her go. And the first time we tried Filipino food, they robbed us by making us pay $50 for a $20 order and then used our banking number illegally to make fraudulent charges years later.

I have never been to the Philippines yet, but I have been to Thailand once. Beautiful country. The culture, the street food, malls, everything was perfect. Fell in love with the beaches too! The Safari Parks were great. Ironically, street food was way more expensive than the mall food there, but also tasted better!

I would love to visit Philippines one day. It would kind of be a waste to see Thailand again since I've already been there once, would love going again, but I would like to visit a country that I've never been to.

Neither at this time. You never know if someone is going to abduct you to the sex trade. These are the 2 countries that I would be suspicious about seeing as a lot of young girls work in the sex trade in both countries. And I mean young, as in 11 and 12. Men from other countires go there so they can have sex with young girls and boys.

Been to both... Thailand went a lot smoother with the getting to the sex stuff faster. Less issues, I didn't get the games, and it was just smoother. I had fun, don't get me wrong... but damn, I've ran into some wild head games with the Pinay chicks.

I don't ''visit'' other countries, unless I have a personal reason to go there, or a specific location that I'd like to experience (not just ''seeing'' it).

I have a life and a job in Thailand; can't say that I'm overly attracted otherwise, although I find it reasonably comfortable here. Philippines... I guess, it would be the same - so I can as well stay where I am.
