Yes and no. I have done a decent amount of flying alone and driving alone. I do like it. I can go at my own pace and do what I want to do. It's nice. But so is traveling with someone. Then you have someone to share memories with and help if you have issues.

Absolutely. When I travel, it means I'm alone and all the issues are mine. Also don't have to slow down for someone to catch up when I'm walkin' to Macy's for the bathroom. No "*pant pant pant* Can you wait a damn minute, bitch? *panting*" or "So blah blah blah, blah, boyfriend, blah blah bla-"
No. It's just... me. :)

Also love it when my wife joins me now that we've figured out how to travel together. Getting better now that the kids are older.

I have traveled alone for the purpose of business transactions.
That's okay since I can appreciate the absence of distractions.
If I want to go sight-seeing and/or thrill-seeking for fun, I'd prefer to have a close companion with me.

Sometimes I do, because then I'm able to distract myself without having to interact with someone.. but there's also those times when I enjoy conversations and I want to go with my friends.

I tried it recently and enjoyed it. Found a few group tours in the area because I feel safer with company but I enjoyed visiting places and having freedom.
