Is it weird to want to take solo trips?

So I have a boyfriend but he has to work a lot. I have few friends not a lot but they're busy with stuff too. I've been wanting to go on some solo trips, I don't want to wait on my boyfriend and friends/family to go to different places like a little 1-2 day trip by myself. I just wanna enjoy life and different activities. I like being alone most of the time anyway.

It is very rewarding for me to go on solo trips.

You only have to worry about yourself and do the things that interest you. You don't have just to tag along for company.

I am the kind of person that likes active holidays and can visit museums at my own pace, take hikes to those sites I always wanted to visit and eat the food that pleases me.

The only drawback as a girl is that you have to be extra cautious but the reward to do the things you like exceeds that negative point.

I don't think it's weird. I know plenty of dudes that love to go camping by themselves. I'm an introvert myself and I find it like a recharge.
