I've lived in small towns but I'm from a big city and currently live in one. In small towns is nice but the people tend to be a little more personal than I'm comfortable with. It wouldn't be an issue except it's more common that everyone knows everyone else's business, not because they care but because they have nothing better to do. In the bigger cities no one cares, when someone greets you by asking how you're doing they don't really want to know how you're doing. In the past I've lived in apartment complexes for years and never got to know my neighbors.
Both options suck equally.
I prefer a city around 50,000 to 65.000 population. It is big enough to have all of the businesses that I like, but not so big that it has high crime, higher taxes, or the liberal attitudes that seem common among many large cities.
If there was ever another option open to me living somewhere I'd probably pick a town. That way, I can go out and do things without needing to worry about much. But I've never lived in a city or town so I wouldn't have any idea which one would be better.
Small town
Born in a big city, never livet in a small city.
But I would like a change.
But my future work place recuires for me to work in big cities so I will continue to live in big cities

I'd rather live on a farm within 15-20 minutes of a mid-sized city or two and an international airport. St home I have privacy. When I leave home all conveniences are close by.
It's about access to services, it can be better to live in a small town near a big city than in the big city.
A quaint li'l lakeside town up in the mountains is what I'm also searching the real estate markets for.
In a small town near a big city. The best of both worlds.
I have live in small towns with 100 people and big town with 100,000 people but I think living in a big city is my thing. Most family are small town people while I feel I am a city slicker.
I’m New York at heart.. I want that big city
I would prefer a village in the neighbourhood of a small town.
I think I'd go for a smaller town that has all the amenities of a big city.
I adore small towns as long as I have a big city close by to go shopping at.
I’d rather live in a big city where nobody really knows me than a small town where everyone might. Then again I don’t think they really would
I prefer my farm where my nearest neighbors are 2 miles away nearest small town is a 20 minute drive and the nearest large city is over an hour
I live in a small village in the suburbs of quite big city. I am happy with it.
Depends if the police are looking for me or, that crazy bitch I met at the swap meet.
I live in a small town now and I wouldn't trade it for any other type of city.
Something in between works for me.
Big city, Miami Florida I’m here
