Somewhere in between. The city I live in is a smaller city, so it doesn't have a big city feel or hustle and bustle, but also has a lot of fun local stuff to choose from with stores, restaurants, etc. being conveniently located and only a short drive away, and also does not have the gossip that many small towns have. I do love visiting the small town my family is from and love the countryside and close knit feel. I do love the fact that where I live is the best of both worlds I feel; my neighborhood is very quiet and serene, yet very conveniently located nearby many of the stores I make frequent trips to.
I think so!
I think I like small towns better but I also like living in a small town near a big city
Rural, I tried living in small snooty rich town, absolute hated it, the police always harassed us because we were poor and lived in the poor part of town which was literally one big apartment complex.
Living in the city was annoying, is stayed with my father when I was younger in DC, I was also in George Town hospital for awhile there too.
I like to stay away from people, I don’t like interacting with neighbors or anything.
Living in a town of 2400, i can feel my impact on the town with my job as a butcher.

All my life I have lived in a small town called Monongahela Pa and a bunch of small towns, New Eagle Pa, Donora Pa, Monessen Pa, Finleyville Pa, Our population is
about 4,138 so not much but I like smaller cities... I live on the main drag that takes me down to town in 5-10 minutes I live on a hill so we can stay away from flooding down in my town I can take a Mon Valley Authority Busline from out town to downtown Pittsburgh Pa in 45 minutes to an hour
I was driving in my truck today on a beautiful summer day. I was thinking that I really would not like to live anywhere else but my little town.
Big cities for sure.
Hate small towns.
All the gossip. Everyone in your business. Having to travel miles just to shop.
Annoying.
I grew up in a very small town (pop 4500) and it was SO boring.
If you're curious, look up Abilene, Kansas.
President Eisenhower was born n raised there.
Greyhound Hall of Fame and Headquarters are there.
There's the Old Abilene Town where the Chisolm Trail went through that cowboys used to herd and move cattle.
Lots of well-known cowboys associated there like Wild Bill Hickok and the like.
Steve Hawley is an astronaut and was born n raised just down the road in an another town called Chapman.
All kinds of stuff...
Yes! There's a few museums there that show the history.
My favorite is the wax museum that has wax replicas of people with voiceover recordings played by speaker that were programmed to interact with other wax people. Was super neat!!
In the summertime during tourist season, they did reenactments in Old Abilene Town like an old time saloon, girls would do can-can shows, cowboys would do shootouts, etc.
Some would even show up on real horses to herd a small group of real cows!!
All in costume and in character, too!
They even had Indians (Native Americans) do acting shows.
Some were actually real Native Americans and would have pow-wows, and tell stories.
Lots n lots of cool stuff
Small town for me near a big city, best of both worlds.
I currently am living in a small town but I always wanted to move to a big city despite they being more expensive of course.
Thanks for the advice
Big cities if presented only those two options. I settled for something between after marriage like peaceful neighborhood that isn't too far of a drive away from the noisiest city.
Rural where local people like local people and hate every other fucker including Townies.
City. Once you've been out in the country for a reprieve, quiet country life gets boring.
Both, but i like small towns a little more. The air is cleaner and the people are nicer.
I was born and raised in a small town, and I live it.
If I had the option to not to move to big city for job I will always prefer the hill station away from noise and clean environment.
I live in london all my life except a just under a year stay in a cornwall England village
Both have ups and downs. Would prefer to live in between.
Neither I like living in the country
I like haveing everything near by.
Yep, I don’t want to travel like 30 for like one thing.
small cities are better. You?
