Did anyone went to any Asian country, How did you grade their culture?

Lived in central China for half a year, people were a lot more social, helping eachother out, doing a lot of activities on the streets (like the elderly coming out in the evening and dancing or singing karaoke), it felt much more like a society than what I am used to. Most places I have lived we ignore eachother, you pay people if they help out or you owe them a favour. They were bustling, out and about and happy to do so. At the same time, their government is really weird and I noticed the effects of that quite obviously. 2nd childs that weren't able to go to school and did odd-jobs, military units in random places, fraud for playing video games, fraud for getting an apartment, etc. People just see fraud as an expectation and as normal. Most of the restaurants would be instant closed for hygiene reasons in the west and the meat can be questionable, but it tastes great and sichuan has some of the best spicy food.

I've also been to Japan twice, for 3 weeks total. Very different, it's rare to communicate with strangers, people are very organized, clean and structured. If someone were to leave some trash on the train, it might reach national newspapers, they just don't do that kind of stuff. Everyone is very punctual. Toilets have 10 different settings with a bidet, music, etc. In China, most restaurants still have a hole in the floor, literally. Everything is automated and all the automation talks to you and give warnings and advise. There's vending machines everywhere, not just for drinks and snacks, but you can find crazy ones with hot meals, household items or electronics. As for food, it's paradise. Obviously fish/sushi is amazing, ramen, bbq (yakiniku), just walk around and look for the smallest, most random stall in a back-alley and you will be served the best food in your life and for affordable prices. It's worth noting that Japan is amazing for tourist, less so if you plan to work at a larger firm; They have come up with a word which means "Death from overworking" for a reason.

If I hate to rate them:
China - 7/10
Japan - 8.5/10

I lived in Japan for 10 years. I'm originally from Hollywood California. I liked their culture because they keep to themselves and don't bug me with bullshit. The girls were much more conservative and I found that appealing as well... which should be obvious when my prior options were cheating whores that are just going to become porn stars and drug users. It felt good to be able to just go out for a midnight stroll and have absolutely no fear of being murdered for such a thing. They are respectful people and even when they're kind of off, lolz, trust me, not as bad as bullshit you'll run into in America. We have too many assholes just chimping out whenever they want.

I've been to other places too... Korea, Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, etc... I'm just going to come out and say it... where there is no blacks, you don't have to be on the attack. Racist as fuck I know, but my black friend approves of this message. It's just facts... you'll deal with subtle racism anywhere against you (speaking as a white dude), but at least it is not absurd over the top and violent racism. I have no fear of getting jumped and robbed in Asian countries.

Yeah Taiwan and Turkey, but I'm assuming you're asking more about "Oriental Asia", so I will only speak for Taiwan.

As a White American of Slavic decent, I found their culture very strange to be honest. the traditional and religious stuff was cool, but it was the small day to day things that were so strange to me. Even just on the airplane to Korea, Asians were just walking down the airplane aisle brushing and flossing their teeth. Then I saw the same thing on the streets in Taiwan. One girl was walking down the street smacking her own ass, like WTF? One lady was burning something inside a trashcan in the middle of the street. One guy was sitting on a bench pounding his own arm. There were drag queens walking around. And inside the museums they constantly kept shoving in front of me to get pictures like they owned the place. It's like these people have no shame. I went to a local park and there was a list of like 20 rules on how to behave. And it's like every little thing has to be done in a specific way. They turned something as simple as drinking tea, into a complex art form. Also, it was pretty obvious from the way they behaved that they viewed non-Asians as lesser people and not worthy of the same treatment. They also seemed very childish to me. Grown women were giggling like little girls and adult people play with toys and dress up. They had drawings on children's cartoons inside the metros.

I've grown up around Asians my whole life, and the Asians in Asia are SO different from the Asians in America. I've been to North America, South America, the Caribbean, Oceania, Europe, Asia of course and the Middle East, and East Asians are the strangest people I've ever met.

I cannot and will not grade their cultures. They're different. Dramatically different. But we shouldn't be grading them. What would be the criteria?

That said, they have wonderful cultures -- again, very different. The people I encountered were, for the most part, very friendly. The food was amazing. The architecture was beautiful. All the countries had different ways of doing things than we we do in the United States. Neither bad, nor good, just different.

As a visitor, I've found on average Japan to be very polite, but unfriendly, China to be rude but very friendly. I personally prefer China - at least until they started putting Uhgirs in concentration camps that is.

I didn't get any strong impression from Korean, Thailand, or Cambodia - nice places, nice people, but nothing stands out.

Been to a few. China, India, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Ski Lanka, Vietnam, Thailand and a few others.

Nothing of late though, as been too busy, plus the pandemic years. But they are brilliant places to go and visit. India -I have a distinct hatred of the people, but not the country.

I live in Singapore. So if we are talking about places outside Southeast Asia, I would say, for the places I have visited in China, the people are simply loud. It's their culture to be loud and "obnoxious". They do not mean to be rude though. It's just the way they communicate with each other. Their attitude towards foreigners is totally different though. They are much more polite.

Food can get quite spicy though.

Been to many Asian countries and I'm half Asian myself. Every Asian country has their own culture they're all very different from each other. In some Asian countries they don't speak English at all and it's really hard to communicate with them in others they are very friendly.

I have never attended any Asian countries. I do know several people of Asian descent and they are some of the most honest, hard working, disciplined, family oriented, people I know.

I think North American's could learn from their ways.

Never been outside the US but I have met and dealt with elder gentleman from both Japan and China and in both cases they were very polite and respectful individuals. Which I would attribute to the culture and how they were taught and raised.

I've been to China, Hong Kong and Macau. The people, once you get to know them, are friendly, but they do not like to lose face.

I've been to a few. Culture-wise they're generally okay. Some have really good food. The main downside is on their beaches they aren't usually okay with girls getting their boobs out or tanning nude. So that might be a problem for you.
