  Grab a Google cardboard headset. It will set you back about $9.99
  Slip your smartphone in it and go to YouTube and search for VR videos.
  
  You can visit Japan or anywhere else for free.
  But heed my warning, make sure you're sitting down when you do this. It's hard for the human brain to accept two different realities at the same time.
  
  My first experience was going on an elephant Safari in the swampy area.
  We were in Long boats and it was just hard to believe. When the elephants started charging us, it was unbelievable. I was pretty scared. LOL

  My headset is $300 because I use it for gaming.
  
  But for just visiting countries around the world, 10 to $30 would be fine.
