Should we mention combined funds on visa forum or what is divided amoung each person?

We are applying as a group of four people for visitor visa of Canada. Now in ther forum we are filling there is a section for "funds available for my stay" does it means we should right what each person would have or what is the combined/total amount is.. Say its 40000$ should we type 10000$ in that section or should we say 40000$ since it says fund for my stay rather our stay

To tell you the truth I have no idea what are you applying for, but if it is 100% legit, it should be 100% separate. Let's just say for argument sake you and I decided to go there together and you know that I am a big spender (in reality I'm not, not even close lol) but for fun sake let's just say I am. You placed $10K down and so did I. Now we have a combined $20K on our deposit account, what would stop me from spending more than what I have put down? absolutely nothing. Listen, I don't know who you are in real life, but when it comes to money, especially thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars you should protect your personal amount at all costs, it is nothing personal. Money is money and friends are friends. If it would of been only couple hundred bucks, whatever man, even if someone would go overboard with spending it all, you can forgive and forget, but 1000's if not 10's of thousands of dollars, you have a serious problem on your hand. Be smart, do not place your emotions over math and logic when it comes down to money.
