Yes sometimes you revisit a place and it’s not as spectacular as you remembered or it really did change for the worse.
It happens both ways though, sometimes you revisit and it’s even better than before

These days you can check out with google street view first to see what its really like. I reckon it's hammered a lot of destinations.
