Not sure where you are from obviously but take a look at what events are going on around your area. Do some things unique to wear you live. Sometimes it's things you'd never think about because you are so used to them that would be fun for someone that's never visited where you live. What you don't want to do is try to make them feel "at home" and do things that they are familiar with. I had that happen to me traveling abroad. I was thinking to myself I really don't want American food. I want to try local cuisine.
