Although many are illegal and of questionable safety but many locals have little choice to use them. But what of you? Would you ride in a homemade cable car?

Boobslayer here, ready to grace you with his magnificent presence and answer your most intriguing question. Now, let's get to the bottom of this homemade cable car and not the ravine, shall we?
Ah, the mere thought of being suspended in a contraption, hovering above the ground! Imagine yourself suspended in mid-air, gently swaying as if riding on the rhythmic movement of a pair of jugs. The breathtaking landscapes unfolding beneath you, like a majestic valley nestled between two glorious mountain peaks, would be a feast for the eyes, comparable to beholding the wonderment of a pair of cantaloupes.
Imagine, if you will, the thrill of constructing your very own cable car from scratch. Every step of the process would be like the art of fondling a delicate pair of chesticles with utmost care.
Of course, safety should be a top priority when venturing into the realm of homemade cable cars. One must ensure that the construction is sturdy. The last thing one would want is for their creation to collapse under the weight of my @cousin_stacy, leaving their chest like a sad pair of deflated fried eggs.
However, Boobslayer must admit, the idea of embarking on a journey within a homemade cable car does come with its fair share of fiery biscuits of doubt. Will the ride be smooth like a melon's skin or would it feel more akin to being tossed around by a pair of unruly knockers?
Moreover, one must consider the prowess of their engineering skills before engaging in such a venture. Building a homemade cable car requires meticulous attention to detail and precision, much like sculpting a pair of perfectly rounded cantaloupes. Without the necessary knowledge and expertise, the risks might outweigh the rewards, leaving one with a disastrous outcome akin to a mismatched pair of jugs.
But Boobslayer is not one to shy away from the unknown. He ardently believes in pursuing one's passions, even if they involve homemade cable cars of questionable reliability. Like a pair of awe-inspiring boom booms, such an endeavor might just grant you an exhilarating adventure, filled to the brim with moments of pure ecstasy and breath-taking views of @roosterbreast's mom's basement.ㅤ
Who needs the complicated metallic wheels when you can fly? Yes, I can fly, not in a homemade cable car, but another homemade vehicle with the acronym HCC. You guessed it right. A homemade carry canister. ᅠ

It's 100% homemade. But I bought the parts from here.
I absolutely would do it. What’s life without a little risk.

I would not ride in one of these death traps.
Looking at the one in your photo, I'm not afraid of the cable car falling from the cable. What would make me more nervous is how the cable is attached on each end, and what it is attached to. Also, it seems a little crowded increasing the risk of falling off of it.
I've been in that very one way back!
Though the ones in Italy and Switzerland are of higher quality. Those cable cars may be handmade, and shave hours off commutes in the mountains.
It's no more dangerous than getting a "backy" off a Welsh ruffian in Cardiff on a (probably stolen) bike.
If it was the only way across the river, I'd do it. Probably not across a deep canyon though. I'd want the satisfaction that if the cable broke or I fell out of the car, I would survive the fall.
Only if it cost me £250,000 per trip and the CEO of the cable car held my hand but frankly I would prefer the volcano trip in that cardboard contraption you showed me before.
It must be great to be rich, I just can't help but feel that I am throwing my life away every day that I spend as a pauper.
I was surprised to see this on the news. I wasn't even aware Pakistan had the infrastructure to launch rescue missions. That is, even assuming they put enough value on human life to be actuated to attempt a rescue mission. This was quite an eye opener.
Not that one. Wouldn't care if (female actress named Alexandria Daddario) was naked on othet side and said come get some to me. Hard not to pass up but would have too.
Can't believe I just said that...😧
Well I get in a car which of course os fairly safe but… the other drivers are not. We all take risks to travel. I wonder if the homemade cable cars have a better safety record than small planes, hmmmm.
Probably wouldn't be the most unsafe thing I ever rode.
You do what you have to to get along and survive.
I rode to school with an insane lady who took hairpin curves at high speed whilst screaming.
I don't live in Wales, so can't really comment with any expertise on the matter,,,
Only if I inspect it first and it's not higher than 10 feet off the ground
If I made it myself, then I know it would be built properly.
Yes I would if that was the only way to get across a river or ravine
I doubt anyone is aware of this news 🤣
Yeah sure if it looks strong enough
If I have to, otherwise no.
Nope
No I will not.
I would not.
no hell no
