Where's the 1 country/place you dont want to visit, despite the "popular option"?

Japan. They may be incredibly modern and technologically advanced, but culturally they are still backwards in many ways and extremely ignorant about other cultures/countries. And too many strict rules and weird customs. I don't know how anyone can think this is a tourist friendly country.

I'm an American and a moderate conservative and I agree with you. Though I will say, I think the US is a good place to come for vacation, but I'd never recommend anyone immigrate here, at least no one from a Western country

America may not be very free these days, but it’s citizens are still more free than the rest of the world. For a lot of default socialists who aren’t very self sufficient or idealistic, many European countries are probably just fine for them. For others, it would be like living in a prison.

I would personally say China. I used to hear good things about it, especially Hong Kong, but since Covid I won’t simply because it’s dangerous.

I live in the US and have traveled to Europe a lot, and I agree with the German guy. Americans love to stick their nose in your business and will have you arrested for the dumbest shit!
30+ countries and the US is the ONLY place I've ever been IDed to purchase alcohol. They IDed my mid 60s mother once🤣
