What's your favourite form of transport? Car, train, plane, bus, bicycle or walk?

I prefer driving. Gets me to where I'm going in just a few minutes or few hours. Having control over what music I listen to, if the windows are down or not, and I'm alone with my thoughts or on the phone with a friend or family member if I choose to be.

A bus is sorta the same but you don't get the privacy you want or the control of the vehicle.

Hate flying in a plane. I'd much rather go by boat and arrive at my destination on time by leaving a few days before I needed to than fly a few hours. The oxygen in my head gets bubbly and pops. Kills me having to go up high. Not afraid of heights though.

By boat is a wonderful way of transportation. Getting to see the ocean. Endless in its stretch. The waves rocking you side to side yet sometimes there is the fear of the boat flipping and drowning.. one of the worst ways to die in my opinion.

Riding my bike would be my third choice. It's not necessarily fast, but if I need to go somewhere close by then what's the point of driving? Plus it gives me exercise.

My city Melbourne has the largest tram network in the world. Love my trams. They go to where you wan't to go and carry more people than crappy buses.

I like trams too. It's a shame that here in Italy there aren't many left.

I was in Torino and I did catch one there and I really liked the automated railway - that was way cool and fast and frequent.

I seldom use a car. it is easier to jump on a tram and chill out. I have got three tram lines close to me and for two I just have walk across the road from my apartment so I am fairly spoilt in that respect.

I like the European trams I've ridden. Most cities got rid of trams to make room for cars. In Melbourne, the rails were embedded in concrete and the politicians rejected the cost of jack hammering all that concrete up. So we got to keep them.

It really depends on the purpose. Like, if it is a short distance, I would rather walk. Or if it is out in nature, I would rather walk. But if it is such a distance that it would be too much to walk, then I prefer car -- unless it is going to take way, way too long to drive, then train or plane. I dislike traveling by plane, but sometimes there is a pesky ocean in the way and you have no choice (or you could go by boat, but it would take forever), or there is no good train option.

Probably by car, since trains are somewhat hard to come by, planes hurt my ears, busses give me trauma from my school days with annoying ass kids yapping and yapping nonsense, I have no clue of how to ride a bicycle and walking is just... walking. Nothing special about it.

Of all these forms of transport, I would have to say my favourites are trains and walking!

My fascination with trains started as a baby and has persisted my whole life! I LOVE sleeping on trains, the gentle rhythmic rocking of the cars, the squeals of the steel wheels, and mournful long low sounds of the horn. They're hypnotic!

Walking allows you to capture the full experience and environs from the weather, to nature, and the ground. Total harmony.
