You forgot one: regular trains. That's my favorite. In my country, they look like this:

In Switzerland, we don't have any subways because the cities are not terribly big and you can get around well with buses and trams and even by bike and walking. However, regular trains are extremely important here. Because the country is small and the space between individual cities smaller than in the US for example, many people live in one city and work in a different one. For example I live in one city but the university where I study at is located in a different city. So I commute every day back and forth. I like riding the train because it gives me some time to do quick homework-fixes that I forgot to do. Back in high school (I already commuted as a high school student), I sometimes used the time on the train to study French if I knew that we were going to have a vocab exam on that day. It saved me many a disastrous outcome ;-). And even there's nothing work-related to do, it's still nice to just look out the window and let the fields and forests pass by.
Riding trains in Switzerland is particularly enjoyable because we have one of the densest railroad systems in the world (you can get practically anywhere by train, even to some small, remote villages) and because, true to our stereotype, our trains are extremely punctual. If a train leaves 2 or more minutes later than it says on the screen, it's considered unusual and people get impatient ;-).
I like Trolleybuses, but unfortunately - there aren't any in my city, so I prefer regular Buses, because they are cheaper compared to Taxi-Cabs.
Trams are usually very crowded.
Metro Trains, Suspension Railway and Monorails are cool, but these transport systems are still not present in my country :(
Airplane. I dont use public transportation unless there's no car at home. Well no not really, if there's no car at home I'd rather not go anywhere
Given that I live in new York i should say taxi but I always drive. Then again I live in upstate. I read somewhere that most Germans dont drive.
Is it sad that I've only ever been on one of these? (If you don't count a school bus!)
I've only ever been on a metro.
My city has only buses and taxis, but I like Subway trains, trolleybuses and trams.

America needs to step their transportation game up real quick because we only have A D and G. Our train system isn't even that good either.
hanging train looks cool. what about a regular train? i've only been on a subway when i'm in new york. so i guess that.
Bus even though it's so inefficient and shit. No choice, what's the other choice taxi? Expensive as fuck mane.
