What’s your favorite type of transportation?

I guess a van. They're the most spacious and comfortable.

Boats can make me feel a little sea sick (I've only been on a ferry once and it sucked). I've been on other smaller boats that don't seem to affect me though.

Planes usually suck for me. I've never gone 1st class. They're crowded, cramped, and make my ears pop 24/7.

Buses are the same story. Usually crowded and cramped.

Never been in a helicopter, but they're loud as hell. Can't imagine it being much different from a plane, just with more noise.

Cars are the runner up to vans.

My main means of commuting all over the place is buses and biking. I do a lot of biking. Pretty used to biking 2-4 hours at a time.

And I've always wanted to use a motorbike, but that shit is dangerous. Apparently there's a 4% chance of getting into an accident every time you get on a motorbike. And if you crash in one of those, it's much more likely to be fatal than if you get hit in a car or van.

Pedal bike and running / walking. I don't like the way it feels to use an engine to get around. Feels like cheating to me, It makes life to easy. I like to get where I'm going and understand the energy used to get there. I think we take transportation for granted.

Train or plans. Ships are nice too but they’re more for leisure than getting somewhere fast.

The only thing I have.
N't done is a helicopter and that's what I would love to do next.

But if i'm going someplace in the states you know not too far I'll drive

Solid gold chariot drawn by a war experienced steed. They are getting hard to find these days for some reason. I have to pick up a 'Chariot Trader' magazine, it's one of those free ones I think.

I have, believe it or not, a small car. Like it's supposed to seat 4, but only of the back seat passengers don't have legs lol. And it's stick (manual), and lots of fun to drive. That's my favorite kind of transportation.

I like to walk. Ideally, I'd walk everywhere that I need to, but that's unfortunately not the case.

I’d say my favorite type of transportation is by car, mainly because it gives so much flexibility to stop, explore, and set your own pace. Trains are a close second though—I love how you can just sit back and watch the scenery go by without worrying about traffic. When it comes to longer trips, having something reliable like this or even arranging a comfortable visit can make travel days much less stressful.

Out of curiosity, do you prefer traveling more for the journey itself or mainly for reaching the destination?

I am partial to my 2001 Ford Explorer. It looks like hell but runs great, has great A/C, good visibility 360° for the driver, and it always starts.

Walking is my favorite, followed by trains, specifically public transportation subways, light rail and trams. I must admit most of my transportation, though, is in my car.
