Where would you rather spend Christmas?

I met a really cool guy. He was a nuclear engineer, and very smart. He lives in Oregon, but has a cabin North of Fairbanks Alaska. Every year he gathers up his extended family, and they fly to Alaska for Christmas. They drive as far as they can by car, but then have to switch to snowmobiles. Each snowmobile pulls a toboggan, because that’s how they bring their supplies and presents. The snowmobile ride is 8 hours! Lol

But the best part of his story was that when his grand kids wake up in the morning, they get to see reindeer on the front “lawn”.

That sounds like a lot of work, but I wanna go!

We were in Switzerland and Germany over the summer. So can't go Christmas. I have spent over 30 years. in NYC... lots of Christmas in NYC lol.

I kinda live in the woods now...

so I don't know how to answer this.

this Christmas we do have to be somewhere else. also a pretty nice town.

The place on the Switzerland/Germany looks beautiful.. I would wanna go there just to experience that site.. NYC ain't looking so good right now so I'll skip on that one.. And with the Cabin thing it's good for friends and family.. Like a big group..

Georgia is a cheaper but no less fancier Winter Destination. 🇬🇪 I’d go there.

German Christmas markets are everywhere in the uk and usually staffed by Eastern Europeans selling tat. It would be nice to experience a real one.

Spent a week in New York with my grandparents during December 2019. Probably one of the most amazing weeks of my life so 100% New York 💖
