What do I do in this situation?

I was driving through a small town out of my state. I was pulled over by a officer for speeding, and not having plates registered to the state. I was given a ticket for it and had my plates seized.

I have NEVER had this problem before. It wasn’t a state I lived in. By he said that any vehicle from this state MUST have a plate registered to the state.

He is either clueless about the law or lying, and it also sounds like he violated the full faith and protection clause of the Constitution of the United States. You could have a nice lawsuit from this.

Someoke said it’s 14th amendment much like marriage laws. That every state must honor other states law.

Now not sure if a car was form Mexico or Canada but

seems wrong. contact local police in your state ti get the plates back for you.

I tried. But it’s another state and it’s a ongoing investigation.

It ISN'T a law. Don't know what he is talking about.

It is actually a violation of the Constitution, but a lot of police officers are clueless when it come to that and the law.
