Anyone get hammered by snow today?

Some states around the Great Lakes are getting snow, according to my sister. This is one time I don't mind living in the fairly snowless Cali climate, though we do get snow in the desert - of all places - and the mountains. Who's going to make a snowman?

All of our snow is practically gone in south/central Ontario, Canada. The warm temps and rain took it all away, other than a few patches here and there. I don't see too much in the forecast either. I think states like New York (south of Lake Ontario) actually have more snow than we do and we are north of them. Weird winter.

They predict snow and rain but just rain for me. I live 45–60 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, PA, and I bet they get some snow. I was always told we are Southwestern Pennsylvania. My great Uncle & Aunt live in Fairless, PA. He is my late granddads brother and is like close to 90 years old.

Tomorrow morning is when the snow is supposed to come. It will be 6 to 8 inches. Enough to make everyone panic

I’m sure people are getting hammered & some are getting hammered by snow. It’s a windy day here so if I were to take a walk on the beach I would get hammered by sand or sandblasted as I call it. The last time it snowed here was six years ago & if it snows again I’ll be ready. I brought a snowman kit just in case.

In my area, the snow is going to start overnight and last until tomorrow afternoon. We're supposed to get somewhere between 0 inches and 12 inches. Apparently the computer forecast models are really jumping around with this storm like fleas on a hot brick. So we'll see what happens soon enough.

No, unfortunately the winters have become too warm here for really heavy snow. It was two or three cm at most this year.

No, but we're finally getting some in the mountains the last week or so. Snow only falls here about every 20 years and lasts about an hour.
