There was an interesting, if wishful thinking, book on this, written back in 1970, "Where the Winds Sleep: Man's Future on the Moon: A Projected History", written by the late science writer Neil P. Ruzic, with assistance by none other than the late Wernher Von Braun of the USA space program fame:
Besides ideas like mining, low gravity and vacuum manufacturing, the authors saw the potential in Lunar settlements for frail but affluent elderly people with brittle bones and weaker hearts, where the lower gravity would allow the aging process to be slowed, and perhaps even reversed in some ways. Of course, once the senior citizen colonists got used to the lower gravity, they could never return to Earth as it would kill them right then and there, but hey, going to the Moon to die might be that final adventure and more exciting than going to Boca Raton or Palm Springs to die.
Needless to say, their projected "future history" *didn't* happen.

The idea never interested me. It's one of the least interesting ideas of places to travel for me. I really like to go to places to experience new cultures, new people, try new foods, take in the history, things of this nature.

Yes, I would definitely do it. I would love to try out being weightless.
probably not... i've only been on an airplane twice 30 minutes ride back and forth and i made a lot of promises to God. i was simply prayinh the whole time and just keep making promises non-stop
Not an interest of mine at this point in my life, seeing as space travel could mean I wouldn’t see my family for years on end (if ever again) but I think the idea of it is cool.
The only way I'd agree to get in a spaceship is if I could visit a habitable alien world and still return to earth. Thats not going to happen though, since they are very far away from our solar system.
that's nice of you to think i'd be able to afford that one day lmao
The longest I can go without riding my motorcycle is four days before I start vibrating. So it wouldn't work for me.
I would not. Space doesn’t interest me in the slightest bit. More so out of fear than actual interest.

yes, sure... I like a nice view
thunderstorms most look amazing from up there I would never lol. I’m sure the views are incredible but I always imagine the feeling of being launched into space and I’d be terrified
I wouldn't go, but I'd pay to have one or two of my ex's go instead!!! :D
naw. it's a waste of money. there's litterally nothing there. at least not in the distances we can reasonably reach.
To each their own, but if I won the lottery, I would much sooner visit the most backwards country on earth, then visit outer space
Absolutely just not with Space X and the Space Nazi
Sounds like a dumb way to die for people who have more money than sense
Space doesn't exist. It's just CGI. We live on a flat relm.
nah I'm a flat-earther and I think outerspace is horse shit
anytime... I'm already packed and ready :D
