What are your best road trick hacks?

Medication Box - I use an old weekly pill container (Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed...) and each day I put essential / common medication in it, and stick it in my glove box so it's there if I need it.

I have small labels for each day, as the actual symbols of the days (S, M, T, W) have worn off over time. I keep allergy tablets, aspirin, tylenol, advil, 2 types of gravol (natural ginger) and regular gravol for car sickness, along with decongestant flu meds in case someone gets sick.

This has been a great travel hack, as it saves me from packing all those tiny bottles, and it stays inside the glove box, out of the sun, where the pills can be stored adequately.

Another great hack is carrying a pre-charged portable charger with me (a power bank) which I bought online. It takes 1 hour to charge my phone fully, is able to hold a battery / charge for up to 48 hours, so in case my phone is running low on battery (if i'm using it for directions or something where it's not plugged into the vehicle port) i can simply hook it up to the power bank and let it charge for a bit of time so my phone doesn't die on me.

Road map book: I prefer to store a PHYSICAL copy of a road map (updated) book under the front seat in my vehicle. Sometimes the GPS / navigation system isn't great, and a physical map book is easier for me to pinpoint my destination, review side roads in the area, see any major travel route options, etc.

Care kit: Always keep a care kit in the trunk, so if something happens with your vehicle, you will be ok! I have a heavy blanket, a bag of granola bars, juice, some water, and candy, band aids, battery jump cables, along with extra bottle of oil, coolant, and a small tool kit with the proper tools I need to change a flat, a contact book of towing services, garages, CAA, etc. I keep in my trunk so if I am ever stranded, or something happens to my vehicle, I can do my best to keep the car and myself in good shape until help arrives.

Planning for the worst is my go to travel hack lol :)

Bring a segregated battery charger so you can recharge when you are away from electricity ports near hotel outlets or airline charging stations. Bring a unique food you have never tried before cause you will eat it slower than a typical grocery item. Have dry snacks in case your lunch or dinner is delayed.
