Is it strange I'm ready to move again? Is it a wise decision to move back to California or just fleeting feelings? what would you do?

I remember you posting about buying a house... Depending on your salary/investment that may be damn near impossible in CA. How about a long visit to friends and family and see how you feel?
What do you miss about it besides the beach? I feel many people that live by the beach don't truly go in the water and on the sand much more often than people that only holiday on the beach.
Just so many memories in certain parts of Cali. Maybe I'm just feeling n I nostalgic
Money isn't everything... And neither is owning housing... But definitely good to think it over.
I'd move there if I had the money and the right job. The salary needs to be close to six figures though for me to even consider living there. The type of career I have just wouldn't allow me to but maybe with your career it would. Nurses make a killing I hear. You could possibly afford to live there if you wanted to and live comfortably. I would definitely move there if I could afford it.
Your pay would go up there. It's California
I'm not sure if it would be close to six figures with being a librarian though. The average salary is just $68k there.
I'm not sure if that's enough to live comfortably there.
Do your homework thoroughly to determine if you can truly afford to live here (in California).
Why not just move closer to the coast. My best friend moved to Huntington and he liked it. He told me that I should come down too. He said I would fit right in. California is a shitshow.
🤣 everyone says cali is a shit show. It kinda is depending where in Cali you are. But yes I agree. The cost of living is better here in NC too. I think I'm just feeling nostalgic
I left because I was with my ex who was in the military. That was about it
He took me with him traveling while in service
Are u referring to outer banks of nc?
Issue for me with nc or SC Beach areas are the storms and tornados near Myrtle beach

It's not strange to feel ready to move again. If you're known for being spontaneous and adventurous, it's part of who you are. Considering a visit to California to gauge if it feels like home again could be a wise move. Experiencing the place firsthand will give you better insight into whether it's where you belong. Sometimes, revisiting familiar places can reignite that connection you’re looking for. Trust your instincts and maybe plan a short trip to California to explore your feelings further. Safe travels! 🌴✈️
I agree definitely great idea before jumping the gun.

I hate the tragic in California and the carpool lanes…. lol. I visited a friend in Cali where she was an hour from the mountains one way and an hour from the beach another way, but the interstate was a mess….
Yeah that was terrible last I visited and had turned me off to Cali completely
If it's the beach you miss, you can always move closer to the beach in NC. I would never move to California. Earthquakes, traffic, high cost of living, and liberal socialist policies.
The liberals are nuts out there but the nurse unions are the best
Housing is insane out here. I have several friends who make between $80K and $110K who had to get roomamates or move back in with parents because costs, especially near the coast, are too high.
Omg that's what's turning me off
What's in Cali? Family? Job? SO?
Why did you leave in the first place?
I left when I was with an ex who was military other than that loved cali
Firm up job and housing then go back home to where life makes sense! I don't know about you but I couldn't live without the beach.
move back to your home! for home town.
Go where your family is
Move to Florida or North Carolina.
Cali in Colombia has no beach.
