California trust me NY is not the best place to live right now the city or the state. Take it from someone who live here every day.

  Well guess you do have a point there. But it's all down to what's best for you. Living costs here in NY are threw the roof. Crime is everywhere, as specialy the city. Also you have to deal with our thick NY accents. Joking about the last one.
