I'm thinking about moving to San Francisco (from Canada). Is the former a great place to live?

Is San Francisco cheap? Conservative? Pro-Trump? All white? Clean? Pro-white? Tropical (palm trees and sandy beaches everywhere)? Easy to get a girlfriend there too? I'm curious.

No place can be more expensive, communist, liberal, diverse, dirty, anti-male, anti-white, or frozen than Canada.

Plus, the Golden Gate Bridge is pretty, and I want a SF Giants hat! California women are supposed to be stunning and feminine (unlike the women up here).

San Francisco: Home of Credence Clearwater Revival and Metallica. Sexy Anglo Saxon women in bikinis at the beach. A house will cost you only $500,000. Taxes are low. Trump rallies in downtown, nobody gives a shit either :). No meth addicts. No boomers. No Indians/Punjabis.

As opposed to Canada; no conservatives here ANYWHERE. Nothing is affordable (food, gas, rent, etc). Hardly any white people left too. The few white women are mentally insane feminists. And the PM wants ALL white people dead!

First, let's define San Francisco. Locals commonly talk about the "Bay Area" which includes SF proper as a small part of it. SF is not even the largest city in the Bay Area (San Jose is).

I only lived there a short time, but I lived near there for a dozen years. I don't know current prices though. The Bay Area in general is one of the most expensive places in the US. My guess is that SF proper is one the more expensive parts of the Bay Area. "East Bay" is cheaper, but still expensive.

SF is also very liberal, one of the most liberal parts of the country.

All white? Nope. It's very diverse.
Clean? Reasonably clean. Cleaner than many other cities I've been to.
Tropical trees? Yes, but it's not as tropical as further south in California.

Sandy beaches? Some, but not nearly as good as further south. Also, people don't generally swim there unless they wear a wet suit or they're tourist who don't know better. The ocean there is too cold for swimming.

"the Golden Gate Bridge is pretty" - Cross over the bridge to the north and things get much nicer. You get out of the city pretty quickly that direction and get to some really nice areas.

Women? Sure, there are women everywhere, with enough variety to find what you like. Are they better looking? In the rich parts, yea. I swear they breed them there. I suppose rich guy marries hot chick and have good looking kids. But you can find plenty of good looking women anywhere.

Is fish n chips the dish there? Roast beef too? Both, but most American fish and chips is very different than British fish and chips. You can find many types of fairly authentic ethnic foods in California. Much more so than other parts of the US. You won't have any problem at all finding whatever ethnic food you like in SF.

If you don't like a bunch of liberals, try inland where it gets more conservative. You won't have the ocean, but you have mountains instead.

Speaking of mountains, California in general is very diverse geographically. You can a little of everything there. You can ski in the mountains in the morning and watch the sunset over the ocean the same evening.

It's INCREDIBLY expensive (gas is $8 a gallon, last I heard, and that was a couple months ago!), it's nearly COMPLETELY liberal and commie, the most Trump hating place on the planet, filthy, probably mostly white but anti-white AND anti-male! San Francisci is one of the more expensive places to live in California You may find none of the stuff you mention. My advice is that, unless you are gay or have a million dollars to spend on a small house there, to avoid that place like the plaque and find someplace cheaper to live.

SF is a big place with lots of people of all kinds. probably find all those things there. i go there for a music festival for the past years except the last two i really like it there. i wouldn't mind moving there

I think you'd be surprised with San Francisco. California is a very liberal state, definitely not pro-Trump. Taxes and the cost of living is very high. Why do you want to leave Canada? I've been to various provinces in Canada and know several Canadian people. Other than it being cold, especially in winter (snow too), Canada is a nice country to live in.

Where are you getting that information from? In the 2020 election, Trump lost California by over 5 million votes, getting only 34% of the vote. He didn't even campaign in California because it's a given that California's electoral votes almost always go to the Democratic candidate. Been that way for decades, ever since Kennedy pulled the surprise win in 1960 by carrying California, to defeat the favored Republican, Nixon.

As for cost of living... As of March 2020, median home prices in California were more than $600,000—nearly 88% higher than the national median of $320,000!
