Why do some people go by the pool just to sunbathe?

I mean I get going to the beach to do that and never go in the water because it feels so nice to have the sea breeze caress your skin but why would you do that by a pool.

It's just relaxing and not everyone likes to swim or get wet. But seeing the pool is nice and watching people. As a mom I'd like to sit and read and watch my daughters having fun. I don't really like water in my eyes or on my face soo... if I swim it's just to get a few laps in.

Overall I prefer to be hiking and sightseeing over sunbathing anyways! I get restless and bored easily lol

because that is were you would see people sunbathing... and not all the people would be questioning this, lol...

now if they were sunbathing at Costco's parking lot, then yeah... that might have some eyebrows raising and wondering what on earth is going on... lol

They want to have rhe chance to cool down if the sun turns too hot.
Or they feel better in a bathsuit if other women around also wear a bathsuit

Usually to get a natural tan in areas without many beaches nearby. Or they come with friends/family who want to swim but they prefer not to.
