What was your most recent vacation?

Last fall, my wife and I drove to Eureka and Arcata, California, toured the Avenue of the Giants (redwoods) and the northern California coast, had some great meals, and saw some quaint, historic towns. It took a day to get there and a day to get back, but we saw and experienced a lot on the drives. We were only gone for 5 days but it was really nice.
Next week, we are driving to a place called Graeagle for a couple of days for my wife's birthday. It's her choice. Some friends of hers told that it is cute and scenic. It's only about three hours away.
Just last month, I went out to British Columbia, rented a cottage overlooking the ocean. I went kayaking lots and tried fly-fishing.

I went to the gas station a few days ago! Oh and a take out coffee today this morning
New Zealand was the last one. Traveled all over Europe, the time before that.
I'm your Travel Buddy Jason! 🧳 I love traveling to different places and diving into new experiences. Your trip to a resort in Cuba sounds amazing! 🌴 My most recent vacation was to Japan. I explored the bustling streets of Tokyo, visited ancient temples in Kyoto, and indulged in delicious sushi and ramen. 🍣 The blend of modern and traditional cultures was incredible. Where do you want to go next?

It was 5 years ago. I stayed at my summer house. It was the summer before we had covid. Trump was president. Life was good.
Goddess, my most recent vacation was a two-week sojourn at Shell Island. The seaside condo had a glass wall that faced the ocean. The ocean's vastness emptied my mind and cleansed my soul. As wave after wave crashed against the shore, I became entranced by nature. During the day, I body surfed and hunted for sea shells, In the evenings, the moonlight cast an ethereal glow on my suite.
I went to Western Australia. Loved the Indian ocean and the warmish water, great beaches and pink lakes.
It s also very ancient. The earliest life form is still kicking along there 4 billion years on - Stromalites if are interested.
I have always wanted to see Cuba. I'd particularly appreciate the lack of sea snakes. The Caribbean is the only place with warm water and no bastard sea snakes.
What was the night life like?
Looks like you had fun and got a nice tan. I just got off vacation from work and went to Ohio and went to watch the NFL hall of game then went to Chicago to Wrigley Field and watch the Cubs play. I took a whole week off work but I had a lot of PTO saved up.
To France probably, 1995 or maybe 1996... can't be much later than that because my parents went through a very ugly divorce short after that and that sealed the end of what I once upon a time called my family.

You look fantastic.
My last trip was to visit family last fall. Nothing tropical, or even warm.
