Does Seattle have a better music scene than Nashville? Better food too?

Personally, I prefer the sound of Gibson guitars/Fender Stratocasters/Marshall amps to Fender Telecasters/Fender amps and these twangy pedal steel guitars.

As for food; tuna subs, clam chowder and Starbucks coffee taste better than BBQ.

But this is my opinion.

While I'm not a huge fan of Grunge, I still prefer it over Country music. And there ARE bands from Seattle that aren't Grunge, so I will say, YES. And I feel the Nashville music scene only caters to a specific demographic, while the Seattle music scene caters to a more diverse audience

I knew three people who loved to Nashville. They all moved out as after a year. Two were songwriters. Robbie Fulks wrote a song about it named "F This Town"

I haven't been to Tennessee but Seattles food was very disappointing. The only thing i enjoyed there was the Korean Braised Ribs. A lot of their food lacked flavor despite having a good aroma

All the southern states are full of hicks and religious nut jobs, and that is reflected in their music scene. Seattle music is far more experimental and interesting.
