When I plan a holiday, it is solely to places where there are museums and galleries that I would like to visit. I don't go on beach holidays because they are boring and don't bring anything that would motivate my intellect and like for arts and architecture.
Last year I visited Vienna in Austria and Budapest in Hungary on 2 separate occasions simply because roaming the museums of those cities took so much time that I could not do them all in 2 weeks.
I need active holidays and not those where you just sit o lie doing nothing. That is not a holiday to me.

Back when I had the strength to do so and if someone were to invite me along, sure, I liked visiting museums and galleries.

I'd still rather be on my favorite river, fishing.

These days, I sit here on G@G, sometimes entertained, sometimes not so much.

Dreaming of fishing.
