If you were given the chance to survive in the middle of Alaska for $1 million would you take it?

Sure, but 1 million would be a paycut.

3 things would be:

An insulated and waterproof sleeping bag over a tent. Much lighter, and less prone to damage than a tent.

A multitool knife over a survival knife, as its more durable, and can be used for a variety of other things, as opposed to just two.

A magnesium pencil sharpener. This is probably the most important. Not only can the sharpener function to sharpen sticks and branches to weapons, defence and skewers, with shavings being kindling. But the magnesium shaving itself is an ultra firestone able to set even damp wood shavings alight, if needs be!

Yes, I would take it. No, I probably wouldn't survive. But that's a life-changing amount of money, so I'd be willing to take that risk.

I'd bring a machete, a large container for water, and a compass.
