I spent two weeks in your country and as a White person, I was treated very badly there, except in Kaohsiung and Tamsui. You people see anyone who isn't Asian as inferior and unworthy of equal treatment.

Well, i’m not Taiwanese. I just lived here since i was teen. Taiwanese are Xenophobia, so it’s not about you are non Asian. But because you are foreigner. And if you are white blonde actually you treated better here. You can easily get at least job as English teacher even without teaching background and degree. It’s different when you are Asian non Taiwanese, it’s still hard for you to find job English teacher even though you have degree on that.

But Taiwanese still a good country to live, safe, there is rarely any crime here, you can put your stuff in the bench in the park and leave it for hours and mo one will steal it, health care are good and covered by government (NHI).

They treat White people better than other minorities, but they still treat other Asians better than White people.
I hear complaints about Japan, Korea and China, but you're the first person to acknowledge that Taiwanese are also xenophobic, or as they call it "being cautious".

I do agree with the last bit though. I liked that you could go anywhere at any hour and not have to worry about your safety.

Most countries in East Asia are xenophobic, because they used to live alone (single ethnicity/tribes) without mixing with other races and tribes in the past.
