I built a platform in a tree when I was a kid. That's where I would spend the summer days.
Platform made out of wood, secured with rope, and a home built ladder with ropes and cross branches. It was only 3 to 4 m above ground, so relatively safe.

Very interesting question...
I climbed many trees as a youth so that doesn't really interest me anymore. I haven't really explored any caves (except for tourist spots) ... that might be fun.

As long as you can Assure me the Cave is Abandoned and Safe to Explore and Not on Verge to Collapse..
Otherwise I will Climb a Tree.. Depending upon which Tree.. some Trees are +100 Meters Tall so they are Amazing to explore
