Better driving skill then average yes.
But... there's driving and there's driving...

Most of the time I drive on places that aren't a race track and most of the time that kind of driving skill is wasted if you just try to keep speed limit on public roads.

A defensive/careful (within reasonable limits) driving style is usually the safest.

But from a technical standpoint it takes more skill to drive closer to the limits.

Like from Top Gear / Grand Tour,

It was said Jeremy Clarkson had more driving skill then James May and Richard Hammond.
That doesn't mean that Clarkson always drove carefully...

A lot of people think they can drive, but let me tell you, they can't. Especially when you're a passenger and they just act like they're still in the car by themselves. No, sir, I'm talking to you, Uber Man. You are carrying PRECIOUS CARGO here, not going to the corner market to get a 40 oz or whatever you do when you're alone. Watch a video on how to be a chauffeur, and I guarantee you'll realize you can't drive worth a shit.

i'm good at being aware like seeing what's around me and responding to it. like i'll change lanes and let people pass me bc they're going faster and i want the cop to pull them over for speeding... not me lol
