Southern Europe seems to have better weather, friendlier and kinder people, and more fascinating history (it's where the Romans and ancient Greeks came from), and better cuisine. a lot of judgmental and aloof people come from Northern Europe.

But northern Europe is, I don't know the word in English but in Polish we say "pożojniejsze"
There's no scammers and things are more organized and they have better social programs and education system.
