Depends on what kind of person you are. Personally I don't take any credit because I don't want to spend part of my attention and mental energy on thinking about when I have to pay off what and how much interest I'm paying for different debts and stuff. Every business is only offering credit because they're counting on a percentage of people paying a lot of money in interest. So the question is are you one of those people or are you one of the people who is always on top of these things? What does qualifying account activity mean? They want you to buy stuff first or what?

It means that if you take that card, you will get a $200 credit towards that cruise.

Obviously if you have no intention of ever going on a cruise, then it's a meaningless offer.

Also, ensure you check the price of the cruise. As it might be $2000 to go on the cruise. and you're only getting 200 bucks off.

The interest rate on a credit car is more important than these front loaded gimmicks. I would stay away from it.

It's probably $200 credit on the ship where things are expensive anyway. You could see if you can use it in the casino, then it's worth exactly $200.

It means it’s a scam unless you intend to take a cruise on a carnival ship. The $200 is earned towards the cruise & I’m sure exclusions apply & you should read the terms.
