What do Europeans find so fascinating about American cities?

I saw a French YouTuber who says she wants to visit Seattle. SEATTLE!😂

And that's not even mentioning the current drug, homeless and crime criseses plaguing American cities.

I've never been interested in Miami or L. A. either but I do find New York interesting. And perhaps Chicago but only cause I wanna try their pizza places

Miami is like a bit more of an interesting Orlando in my opinion but not over the top. The beaches are okay and it's good if you're a party person which I'm not really lol

I went to Tampa last year, my mom was complaining that it was ugly lol. There are some activities you can do, but like anywhere. I guess it's a good place for someone who already lives nearby and just wants to spend some time somewhere a little new but I never heard of anyone outside of Florida visiting Tampa for tourism lol

I wouldn't either. My senior class in high school chose a field trip to Disneyland and they were so excited about it. My and my friend were the only ones who didn't go. Though I went once as a kid and also to Legoland and Sea World.
I saw the Instagram account of this Paraguayan girl who was in the Paris Olympics. Of all the things to see in Paris, she went to DISNEY WORLD! *facepalm
I can understand the appeal if you're a kid and have kids, but I don't understand the appeal of going as an adult.
One of my classmates wasted her vacation going to "Disney World"
When I told my co-workers I was going to Florida, the first words out of their mouths were, "Are you going to Disney World?" It's very sad as Florida has so much rich history, culture and nature, it's sad that people mainly only know it for places like Disney World and Miami.

Miami is definitely more interesting than Orlando, at least it has ocean and historic sites. I would visit if I had a layover there, but I wouldn't make a special trip around visiting Miami.
I'll never forget when some Cuban lady working at Miami airport told my mom to speak Spanish.

Like all big cities, the skyline looks cool from a distance, but probably no up close. I only saw like a couple things there that looked worth visiting. Also, isn't the Church of Scientology headquarted there?

That there seems to be no curves or bends in many of them. The roads are so wide. Vehicles so cumbersome. Pubic transport is woeful when it could be epic. Concrete is king. Parking almost anywhere is good.
