What is the farthest you have ever been from your home?

The earths circumference is 40,000 km so 20,000 km is as far as you can get from home. But there constraints if you want land on arrival - it is not easy to be the maximal distance in practice.

For me London has been the furthermost at 17,000 km flight distance. If I lived in New Zealand instead of Australia it would be 18,000 km. New York is a bit under 17,000. If I went to Iceland that would be 17,000. Greenland is 17,000 km also.

So it is really hard to crack that magic 20,000 km. I need some land between Iceland and Greenland.
