What's the furthest place from home you have ever traveled?

6,673 miles away from home. That is the ticketed point mileage from my home place to the furthest destination I have ever been.

This trip was made in 2018, just before Covid and I am glad I had the opportunity to take this trip in company of other family members.

The second longest trip was 5,447 miles on the opposite direction. That trip was made in 2022 and since then, I haven't done any long haul trips anymore. I am fed up of traveling because of all the problems at airports. I am no longer interested in spending so much idle time wasted at airport security.

I guess when I lived in South Texas, the furthest i went was to Pennsylvania. Lmao yeah it's not impressive, but it's still a 26 hour drive or so.

I've been to the other side of the world, approximately 12 thousand miles (19 thousand kilometers) from home, working on projects in Asia. That's the farthest I've ever been from home.
