Can you name all 5 New England states?

There are 6 New England States. I do not know how Family Feud works but both New Hampshire and Rhode Island are part of New England but were not on the board and the contestants included states like New York and Delaware. Our public schools really need to be fixed.

How it works is, they poll 100 people with these questions and top answers given to them are on the board. That doesn't mean that those 100 people mentioned all 6 states.
Liker, if they asked those 100 people to name A state in the country, maybe 50 of them said, New York, 30 said California, 12 said Texas, 7 said Florida and one said Spain, the only answers they'd have to pick from would be New York, California, Texas and Florida. Maybe they'd ask one more person to make up for the Spain answer!

Dude not knowing the 6 New England states is not the litmus test for measuring someone's intellect or even showing signs of a broken education system lol. I didn't even know this but I know a lot of other stuff when it comes to history and geography. For example I can all the states in alphabetical order and I know all the capitals. I also know a very in depth amount about the Civil war where as not many people do.

Yes, I would have named them all but would have questioned Connecticut a little as it is so far south comparably but there was a movie called the Connecticut Yankee so that would fit.

@exitseven The answers on the board in Family Feud aren’t necessarily correct. They could be completely false and it happens all the time. it’s just what a majority of 100 random people surveyed on the street said. So the hundred in this case missed Delaware, but still know more than this family

I used to know every state capital, and a WHOLE bunch of international capitals. Learned them for fun, lmao. Could still probably go 48/50 with a couple “Oh yeah, DUH” head-slappers. Break up of the USSR hurt my world capitals, too many new countries, haha

I used to send away for tourist literature from every state. I used to write the Chamber of Commerce at the state capital of every state. I had a whole box full of stuff. I learned the names of all the capitals.
