What is the proper etiquette for being on a plane?

I’m taking my first flight today.

Board only when your group is called, sit in your assigned seat, store your carry-on in the overhead bin and your personal item under the seat in front of you, follow the instructions of the crew, pay attention to the safety briefing, sit quietly during the flight, respect your fellow passengers, wait your turn to get off the plane, and thank to pilots and crew as you exit at your destination.

It's also a good idea to always keep your seat belt fastened, tightly during takeoff and landing, loosely during cruise, just in case something happens or you encounter turbulence.

They really cannot hear you anyway with the locked reinforced flight deck doors... oh and trust me I have experienced a few landings that maybe boos might be appropriate he he he Some new pilots have a lot to learn! I also know a few that would appreciate phone numbers instead of applause for the layover. Just saying.
