Put the car in Storage... get a rental unit at a local storage' place and it will be in a secure location.

Talk to your local car dealer service representative and ask what you need to do to the car to 'pickle' it for that period of time

If you have a garage with a power outlet, use a trickle charger. If not, just unplug the battery.

If you park outside i would be worried about mice or rats chewing the wiring more than a dead battery. You can always use a jump starter for a weak battery. If you park in a garage, it may be ok as long as there is no mice living there.
